Thoughts to keep in mind
- when adding a project, the FEATURED IMAGE is the post content! Do not add content to page. Make featured image hi res.
- watch out when changing SITE URL under general settings
Things I learned today, July 28, 2014
- I learned how to use MYSQL Databases and PHPMYADMIN to find out what database on my hosting account matches up to which wordpress install.
- I learned that when moving a website from one location to another you need to go into permalinks and hit save to re-establish links
- I learned that a site transfer can work, but some images will not link – the solution was a PLUGIN by VELVET BLUES that updates links, and their first option did the trick
- I learned velvet blues can move a website for $65!
- Hostmonster will move a wordpress site, but they don’t aways want to. And when they do, I will need to clean things up.
My Forms website works great, except trying to center form. See if you can figure it out.
